I'm Mohammed Abbas — a visionary leader, economist, statistician, and full-stack engineer building the first Kenyan AI-powered ecosystem. My mission and advocacy is Human Empowerment — bridging the gap of equality and creating sustainable opportunities for youth across Africa.

I am actively building an NGO to ensure that I have empowered all youths and fight for their rights. The biggest challenge for youths in Kenya and Africa is that they are often ignored by the very systems they are meant to build. On my end, I am fighting for good governance by leading by example. My leadership journey began in primary school as a class prefect, evolved into becoming School President at Mutomo Preparatory School, and later, the School President at St. Augustine Kauma Boys Secondary School. My legacy there remains alive through the student leaders I mentored and trained—the name Mohammed Abbas still echoes in their halls.

Now in my university years at Chuka University, I have continued to sharpen my leadership. I have been re-elected as class leader since my first year and called to lead multiple student organizations. I successfully led a massive campaign for my brother Glen Washington to become the leading Faculty Rep, and we are currently preparing a prominent run for the Presidential seat under the leading coalition. My modeling journey is entirely defined by this leadership—serving as Chuka University Model Leader and 1st Prince, which secured my position among the top models in Kenya as a Man of Africa Finalist.

Through Royal Icon, I am building a national platform for talent. My goal by the end of our first year is to visit all 47 counties in Kenya and support 100 talents across modeling, football, dancing, and singing. We have already made strides in Makueni, Kitui, Meru, Mombasa, Nairobi, and Tharaka-Nithi.

Digital empowerment is my other frontier. I am building systems like QIS (Quantum Impact Syndicate), AFYACONNECT, and the Chuka University ILMS to reduce unemployment and better our future. Winning three major hackathons (Gen AI Academy APAC, dreamflow Buildathon 2025, Google Cloud AI Labs) and participating in 17+ contests has shaped my ability to build these ecosystems.

Beyond tech, I am defining masculinity beyond community norms through the Man of Africa initiative—understanding what the system wants and saving the boychild. I support women empowerment alongside my partner Idah Apule, and champion community health through charity walks and mentorship programs in prisons and children's homes. We cannot let our past define our future.
